The old PSL

A couple years ago, the old Cornell physical sciences library was shut down due to budget constrains. They stopped circulation, moved most of the books, etc. However, they left all these carrel desks that are perfect for doing physics homework in the evenings (yay summer classes). At the hands of Cornell students, these carrels have been thoroughly graffiti-ed. Which makes them all the more interesting for studying.

Among all the “call ###-#### for a good time” and sorority and fraternity Greek letters, here’s a doodle that I found particularly entertaining:

Unfortunately, you can’t see it too clearly. But the figure on the left is labeled “EZRA” and the one on the right is labeled “my gpa”. You get the idea…

This one too:

What’s the most entertaining thing you’ve seen drawn onto or carved into a desk? Have you contributed to any of the graffiti?

A friend once told me that all I eat is chocolate and cheese. I was both disturbed and amused to realize that he was right.
