So remember how I posted about Skittles vodka being better in theory than in practice (post here). I WAS SO WRONG.
Yesterday, we finally strained all (most) of the fat out of the vodka. It was really bootleg and involved pouring through paper towels. We also tried coffee filters, but they’re too fine and get clogged really quickly.
From our experiences last week, we weren’t to keen on taking straight up shots, so this time we tried mixing with Sprite and Coke. Basically, the results were delicious. The cherry was especially good as a mixer because it retained some of its distinctive Skittle taste. Yum.
