Only 24 hours

And often it frustrates me that there are only 24 hours in a day. How do I fit an entire day in 24 hours?? Do you know how much there is to do in a day??? I never expected senior year to be so demanding – academically, emotionally, even physically. But at the same time, there are some things that I can always make time for:

  • Good conversations with friends, especially those who just need someone to listen Seriously, I will always be available (even at 11pm on the night before a major problem set is due). I know how it feels to need someone to talk to.
  • This week’s episode of Doctor Who. I need to know what happens to Amy and Rory. Seriously. I will cry when they leave the show.
  • Attempting the daily sudoku in the Cornell Daily Sun. Usually squeezed into that awkward one-hour gap between my morning classes.
  • Spontaneous late-night study breaks. Want to order off the secret menu at Louie’s Lunch truck? YES. Run around Baker Lab and see which of our chem professors are still around? YES. Have a midnight dance party in the Baker 200 lecture hall? OF COURSE.

A friend once told me that all I eat is chocolate and cheese. I was both disturbed and amused to realize that he was right.
